Anna-Eva Bergman holds an important position in Norwegian art history.
This exhibition presents her surrealistic period, with clear impulses from
imaginative artists such as Juan Miro, Paul Klee and Hans Hartung (her
husband).
For the first time ever 126 works created between 1949 and
1952 will be on show at the same venue. To provide a context for this
period we also present 16 monumental works from 1956 to 1987.
Several of these have never previously been shown in Norway.
