Ole Bull’s Birthday

On Friday, 5 February, Ole Bull’s 200th birthday will be celebrated at Festplassen alongside Lille Lungegårdsvann.

The party is free and everyone is invited, young and old alike.

Guests will be served ‘Bull-ion’ and treated to a show hosted by Stian Barsnes Simonsen. The performing artists include, among others, the young violin virtuoso Sonoko Miriam Welde, the rappers Gest and Piddi, Anney & Rachel (who participated in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest, 2009), Gabriel Fliflet, Gjertrud Økland and Simon Snorkel.

The event will culminate in a ‘Bully’ fireworks display. The party starts at 6 pm.
